So two days ago I did a stunning wedding in Colorado! The bride and some of her bridesmaids were high school friends of mine, and it was such a pleasure being a part of the event. Reception Slideshow!

Success! Jason and I implemented a new idea at our wedding yesterday, and it went wonderfully! We've learned from other photographers, and a new hot idea is a slideshow of pictures presented at the reception. We pulled it off seamlessly and our lovely bride was very surprised, and pleased. These were all done in 15 minutes, so it's not the finished project, but I'm so proud I just have to show it off!

Of course it had music and was automatic, but here's the general idea (until I can figure out how to embed!):

Mother's Day Shoot!

I've concluded that Mother's Day is the best day for family pictures!! We went to the beautiful Natchez Trace Parkway at 8:30 am and it was already hot! We watched for snakes, and narrowly missed poison ivy, but it was worth it! I can't wait for many more of these!

Newborn Baby

Man! I am really bad at blogging! It's been a month, but I've had lots of fun. Yesterday I got to take pictures of little Gavin, only 6 days old. Jason and I were able to use some of our new equipment, and we really had a blast!

 

I found this awesome balloon on the living room table and knew we HAD to use it! Perfect for announcements!

 

Gavin was laying in mommy's arms and we used beautiful light coming from the window to get this shot.

 

This was the very first one, he was so tired!

 

We cranked up the heat, gave him lots to eat, and it just knocked him out. 

 

I love baby hats!
