Ellington Agricultural Center Family Photos

Meet the Sandoz Family! Leona and Griffin are the cutest kids, and they were full of energy. By the end of this session at the Ellington Agricultural Center in Nashville, I was panting! The whole family was a lot of fun and they were up for anything, which makes it even better. They decided to add a little variety to their shoot, and brought the kid's pillow pets, blankets, and books! It was magic. Enjoy!
I created these collage pages exactly like I would if I were creating one of the amazing KISS albums!
This just shows how fun this family was! Aren't the trees gorgeous?!
So precious! I wish every session involved props! Just think, you could do balloons and a cake for birthdays, bubbles for babies, pumpkins for fall, picnics for couples complete with wine and cheese... there are so many options!

PS- I'll be doing mini sessions in November this year for families, seniors, couples, etc who want Christmas pictures or just updates to their wall! They will be 25 minutes long and will include all your files on CD to print for only $75. It's a killer deal, considering all those items are normally priced at $250 for an hour session. Email me if you're interested at writesarahmarie@hotmail.com so I can start planning!

Centennial Park Maternity Shoot

Yana and David are days away from having a baby, and they've kept the name a secret! Usually I do maternity sessions inside, but because this location (the amazing Centennial Park Parthenon) was so special to them, it made sense to do it here! It was 6pm, and the sun was beautiful!
They did a great job climbing up the steps, especially Yana!
So big, and yet so small
 Now there's perspective!
 One of my favorites!
This is the classic pose with a twist
This is probably my favorite. David specifically asked for kissing pictures! What a guy!

Photo session in a treehouse!

A treehouse better than Swiss Family Robinson's!
This is the amazing couple that created it! Still a work in progress.
Swiss Family Robinson? Nope, but close! This was by far one of the coolest, unique, and...dangerous shoots I've ever done! I didn't know Nashville had it in for me, but oh my, I thought I was going to die 60 feet off the ground in a four story treehouse! Whew! Sure was fun, though, and really had a lot of fun with this couple. We ended up staying longer than normal, laughing, talking, and sharing a glass of wine that originated as a prop! What a great way to spend a Monday night! See for yourself!

Vanderbilt University Engagement Shoot

As music majors, the School of Music was the perfect spot!
Ally and Andrew met at Vanderbilt University when they attended there a few years ago. Since it meant so much to them (and the campus is amazing!), it was perfect for their engagement session! We expected rain, and were pretty excited about it, but as soon as we got there the sun burst thru! It ended up being beautiful and this Ally and Andrew were terrific!

On the steps of Kirkland Hall

Ally will make a gorgeous bride!

They have a blast together

There's proof!

Ah! So pretty!
